Welcome 2009!

Welcome to 2009! I am confident this year is going to a positive one! I am looking forward to having a new president. So much depends on his ability to lead this country through a very difficult time and I truly wish him success. I am hoping for a big come back starting with this year.

I can't believe it has been one full year since the birth of Invitation Creations. Such an amazing journey that had ups and downs, gratifications and frustrations. As the year has ended, I want to thank my brides/clients who trusted a new, small and relatively unknown invitation designer with such important events in their lives. We built memories and relationships. I am grateful even to the clients that tested my limits teaching me a lesson that I seem to have a hard time with, patience. They also taught me to rethink and revamp my operations for the better.

Thank you all! I enjoyed our meetings, our talks, and collaboration of visions and though I am happy for each one of you, I was also saddened to watch you go and begin a new journey in your lives. I love and miss all of you! Each project is a confirmation that I am doing what I love and its because of you and your events that I get to be inspired!

I have added/adjusted a couple of new things this year. I slightly revised the Invitation Creations website as well as added a blog!! I myself spend quite a bit of time reading and looking at blogs for inspiration and trends. Instead of starting from 2009, I thought I would include some of my favorite brides and projects from 2008. So, bear with me as I continue to update this blog with blasts from the past! I'm also adding a raves section, diaper cakes section and a new FAQs section which should all be up in the next few weeks.

I am hopeful about this year and am looking forward to working with you!
